Bebop Scale Boot Camp
In this innovative workshop, you'll play Bebop lines from the scale and all its iterations over heavy grooves while outlining chord changes. We add chromaticism and other devices to create pro-sounding, exciting lines! You'll love applying it in a small group setting in the Breakout Room Sessions.

About the event
Once you register, you'll automatically receive a Zoom link to the event, as well as PDFs and Backing Tracks.Â
There are 2 components to the workshop:Â
- Interactive Instruction, where I'll demonstrate the scale or line and then you'll play it with everyone else with groovin' backing tracks. We'll discuss the devices used to make it tick. Each session starts with review followed by playing new material.
- Breakout Room Sessions: You'll break up into small groups of 2 or 3 players in a simulated practice room to start shredding the new material and jam on a 12 bar blues, jazz standard, funk, or fusion tune.
The first 5 people to register will receive the new OUTLINE of material to be covered. This will help you prepare and make the most of the event.
You'll learn a lot and have fun being part of a great guitar community!
