Learning a musical instrument—especially an instrument as rich and demanding as the guitar—is something I take seriously. Whether you’re an experienced musician or just beginning your musical journey, I’m committed to providing high-quality instruction, individual attention, and resources to support your continued musical development.

My goal is to provide a professional, structured learning environment that gives each student the consistency, individual attention, and resources needed to make meaningful musical progress.

Tuition & Payment

My primary lesson program consists of regular weekly, one-hour guitar lessons.

Discounted monthly tuition is available to students who commit to ongoing weekly lessons and pay in advance. Monthly tuition reserves your regular weekly lesson time whether or not you attend a particular lesson. Tuition is for your reserved lesson time and continued participation in the instructional program.

Students may enroll in a monthly lesson plan through my website at any time. Website plans begin on the date of enrollment and payment, with recurring payments processed automatically according to the established billing cycle.

Students paying manually by Venmo must submit tuition by 12:00 PM Eastern Time on the first day of each month. A $25 late fee applies to payments received after the deadline.

If a calendar month contains an additional weekly lesson, that lesson is billed separately at the applicable lesson rate.

Individual Lessons

Individual one-hour lessons outside the monthly program are $175 per lesson.

The discounted monthly tuition rate is offered as a benefit to students who commit to regular weekly lessons and pay in advance.

Scheduling

Lesson times are scheduled in advance and reserved specifically for each student. My regular teaching days are generally Wednesdays and Thursdays, with scheduling changes subject to availability.

Students are expected to select a lesson time they can reasonably commit to on an ongoing basis.

Cancellations & Missed Lessons

All cancellations must be submitted in writing by email. Text messages, phone calls, or verbal notifications are not considered official cancellation notices.

Please provide as much notice as possible whenever you need to miss a lesson.

Monthly tuition continues to reserve your regular lesson time regardless of attendance.

Makeup Lessons

Students may schedule one makeup lesson during each six-month period, subject to my availability.

If I am able to accommodate an additional makeup lesson, a $25 fee will apply.

Makeup lessons cannot be accumulated, transferred to another student, or converted into tuition credits.

Practice Between Lessons

Your Practice Portal provides lesson materials, assignments, recordings, and other resources to support your development between lessons.

If you miss a live lesson, these materials can help you continue practicing and working on your assignments that week.

Practice Portal access may be suspended if tuition is past due.

If I Need to Reschedule a Lesson

As a professional performing musician, I may occasionally need to reschedule a lesson due to a performance or other professional commitment.

If I need to reschedule, I will work with you to find a mutually convenient time, making every effort to accommodate a time that works best for you.

Extended Absences

If you are unable to attend lessons for an extended period, please notify me by email in advance.

An absence covering an entire monthly billing period will be considered a discontinuation of regular lesson enrollment, and your reserved lesson time may be released.

To resume regular lessons, a returning student will need to re-register and pay the applicable Registration & Administrative Fee. Previous lesson times are not guaranteed.

Registration & Administrative Fee

The Registration & Administrative Fee supports the ongoing administrative and operating costs of maintaining a professional private teaching studio, including scheduling, online systems, lesson resources, and other services provided to students.

The fee applies when a new student enrolls or when a returning student re-registers after discontinuing regular enrollment.

Ending Lessons

One full month’s notice is required to discontinue lessons. Notice must be provided by email.

Students enrolled through a website recurring plan are responsible for canceling their recurring plan after providing the required notice.
