This is the final iteration of the fourth etude I've written in my lessons with Ed using Konnakol - a South Indian timekeeping methodology. First, Ed would have me compose a rhythmic etude just using the Konnakol without any pitches. The next step is assigning melody to the rhythms based on a harmonic progression Ed would pick. In this case we used an F blues. Here's how it turned out!
